At Inszone Insurance Services, we believe that true success is measured not only by professional achievements but also by the positive impact we make in our communities. One such inspiring example is Nancy Horton, a Producer in our Benefits Department at the Tulsa, OK office. Nancy’s dedication to volunteerism and community service exemplifies the core values we hold dear.
Nancy has been an integral part of the Inszone team since July 2024, bringing enthusiasm and expertise to her role. Beyond her professional responsibilities, Nancy devotes her time and energy to Mobile Missions Network, a non-profit organization with a heartfelt mission: to take the church to the people.
Mobile Missions Network is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Their goal is to address spiritual and practical needs by bringing church groups from within and outside the state to serve in Tulsa and its surrounding areas. They provide a place for mission teams to sleep, train, and share meals, enabling them to focus on community outreach. The organization is deeply embedded in several communities, where volunteers share the word of the Lord through Bible stories to children, build relationships with adults, and assist with various needs.
During the Fall Break from October 17 to October 18, 2024, Mobile Missions Network hosted an event involving mission teams from First Baptist Church Mansfield (Mansfield, Missouri), Woodland Hills Baptist Church (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma), and The Missions Church Owasso (Owasso, Oklahoma). The missionaries stayed at the Mobile Missions Campus, underwent missions training, and dedicated their time to sharing the word of the Lord in communities such as River West Apartments, Arden Apartments, and Autumn Ridge Apartments.
Nancy played a crucial role in supporting the missionaries during this event. Recognizing the importance of nourishment for those who serve, she volunteered in the kitchen to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner over the four days the missionaries were on campus. Nancy arrived early each day and stayed late, ensuring that all meals were prepared with care and that the missionaries felt welcomed and supported.
“I get to be a part of serving those that come to serve,” Nancy shared. “Everyone is called to be a part of the body of Christ. My heart is in the kitchen, making sure that the missionaries are fed and taken care of while they are here in Tulsa, Oklahoma, serving the community.”
Nancy’s involvement with Mobile Missions Network is deeply rooted in her faith and personal journey. Inspired by the vision of the lead missionary, Mike Lehew, who believed in doing church differently—“If we do missions, then the church will come”—Nancy and her husband became part of Church Inside Out, the church that emerged from these missions. This connection propelled them into active participation in community missions.
“The reason this event is important to me is that I get to serve those who are serving others,” Nancy explained. “It’s fulfilling to be a part of an organization that not only spreads the gospel but also builds genuine relationships within our community.”
Nancy’s story is a testament to the profound impact that dedicated individuals can have on their communities. Her commitment to Mobile Missions Network not only supports the missionaries but also contributes to the broader mission of uplifting and assisting local communities in need.
At Inszone Insurance Services, we are proud of Nancy’s dedication and the example she sets for all of us. Her selfless service embodies our company’s spirit of community involvement and underscores the importance of giving back.
