Like its other lounges, Capital One provides a wide selection of food and drinks. Here, you’ll find food and drink for consumption on-site as well as grab-and-go options (with a big caveat).
Dining at the Capital One Landing
Gone are the days of uninspiring pub mix and soup straight from the can. The elevated menu at the Washington Capital One Landing was created under the guidance of Michelin-starred Chef Jose Andres.
At breakfast, you’ll find options that range from the conventional—think fruit and yogurt or bagels with lox—to Spanish-inspired flavors, like an omelet with confit potatoes and carmelized onions or xuixo, a crispy pastry filled with Catalan cream.
Lunch and dinner focus more intensely on Spanish favorites, with an emphasis on ingredients from the Iberian peninsula. Choose from options including a charcuterie plate with jamon serrano sourced from Spain, confit piquillo peppers or a daily selection of croquetas.

At both meals, you’ll find several vegetarian and vegan options. There’s no limit on how much you can order, so you’re free to try as many dishes as you like.
Drink Options at the Capital One Landing in Washington Reagan
The same care and attention given to the food menu was also extended to the beverage menu. Again, there’s a Spanish influence throughout the menu.
The entire wine list is sourced from Spain, as are several beers. Several of the cocktails even include Spanish ingredients, like the “Fino Red Snapper” which features both a dry sherry and mezcal in its recipe, or the “Landing G&T,” a gin and tonic made with Mediterranean tonic and sakura—a nod to Washington D.C.’s famous cherry blossoms.
Always appreciated, Capital One has done an outstanding job providing high-end selections without alcohol as well. You’ll find classic soft drinks, handcrafted barista coffees, nonalcoholic beer and a selection of mocktails. In the morning, you’ll also find fresh juices.
Takeaway Options at the Capital One Landing Lounge
Upon entering, you’ll find yourself in the reception and grab-and-go area, similar to what you’d find at other Capital One Lounge locations. Unlike its other lounges, though, the sandwiches, salads and drinks in the cooler case aren’t complimentary. At Capital One Landing, you’ll have to pay if you want to take your food to go.
This area, referred to as “On the Fly” offerings, also features options developed by the Jose Andres Group. It won’t compare to a seat in the main dining area, but when time isn’t on your side, or you can’t get a table, it could be a more savory option than the standard burgers on offer elsewhere in the terminal. Anyone traveling—including those who aren’t Capital One customers—can make purchases from On the Fly.
