Brown, Goldstein & Levy is honored to receive the annual Diversity Award, presented by the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. The award is presented to an organization in the greater Baltimore-Washington, D.C. area that advances diversity and inclusion of attorneys in the legal profession. We are proud to accept this award in recognition of our diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging efforts within our firm, with our clients, and within our community.

Managing Partner Jessie Weber accepted the award on behalf of BGL at the 50th Annual BLSA Awards Banquet. Partner Andy Levy also attended the event. The banquet, held at M&T Bank Exchange in downtown Baltimore, featured a networking cocktail hour, awards presentation and a keynote address. The theme of the event was “Commemorating the Past to Champion the Future,” celebrating the accomplishments of both current Black law students and those who came before to break the barriers to equitable legal education.

Since its founding over four decades ago, BGL has held itself to the highest standards of inclusion in all our work. We understand that a focus on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging—including accessibility—fosters a collaborative, creative environment that harnesses each person’s strengths and unique perspectives to the fullest to achieve the best results for our clients.
