Inoreader Q1 highlights: A strong start to 2025 – Go Health Pro

Ending March on a high note, we at Inoreader are closing out an incredibly productive first quarter packed with exciting new releases and key improvements. Here’s a quick recap of what we’ve been up to – perfect for catching up if you missed any updates along the way:

January

We kicked off 2025 with the long-anticipated update of the Inoreader browser extension, version 6.0. This release introduced a range of new Read later functionalities, allowing you to save pages directly from your browser tab, add tags on the go, and even annotate text as you browse. Additionally, you can now save social media posts from LinkedIn, X, and Bluesky, access a brand-new contextual menu for faster actions, and customize your preferences to suit your workflow better. Teams also gained new functionalities, making the extension more adaptive for collaborative use. Read more about this update:

Starting the new year with a significant update, we’re excited to introduce the Inoreader browser extension 6.0, designed to elevate your online reading and content management experience.

We also announced the deprecation of social features in Inoreader’s new design. These features will remain available in the old version of Inoreader until March 31, 2025. For more information, look here:

February

In February, we launched our Bluesky integration. You can now connect your Inoreader and Bluesky accounts, add Bluesky feeds (including search results, accounts, hashtags, and even your Home timeline), and manage them just like any other feed on both web and mobile. Learn more here:

March

The headline for March – and one of the biggest announcements so far this year – is the launch of Inoreader Intelligence, our brand-new suite of AI-powered tools designed to help you process information faster and work with content more efficiently.

The first feature to go live is article summaries, enabling you to instantly generate concise overviews of articles inside Inoreader. You can run predefined or custom prompts and ask direct questions about any article to get focused insights in seconds. See the full announcement here:

Earlier this month, we also introduced our Pocket integration! You can now link your Pocket and Inoreader accounts to consolidate and manage your read-later list in one place by easily transferring saved articles from Pocket to Inoreader. Check out our step-by-step guide here:

And we didn’t stop there! March also brought an update to Global search, making finding quality content from trusted sources easier. You can now search within Inoreader’s featured collections and set up monitoring feeds to ensure only the most relevant articles make it to your newsfeed. Find more on that here:

A few extra updates

  • Inoreader is now installable as a Progressive Web App (PWA)

On Chrome, simply open www.inoreader.com and click the install icon in the address bar to add it as an app (complete with an unread counter badge). On macOS Safari, click Share > Add to Dock. On iOS Safari, select Share > Add to Home screen.

  • We’re deprecating our mirror proxies

As part of our move to Cloudflare, jp.inoreader.com and us.inoreader.com will be retired on May 1, 2025, and will automatically redirect to www.inoreader.com. Moving to Cloudflare makes Inoreader faster by reducing latency, improving content delivery speeds, and enhancing security through a global network of optimized servers.

Go to Preferences > Account > Login activity to view all your active sessions across devices, check the last activity timestamp and location, and remotely log out if needed.

With such a dynamic start to 2025, we’re ever more excited for what’s to come! From powerful features like Inoreader Intelligence to new integrations and quality-of-life improvements, this quarter has been all about helping you get more out of your Inoreader experience.
