At Inszone Insurance Services, we are proud to celebrate our team members who dedicate their time and hearts to meaningful community causes. Casi McAllister, one of our valued employees, recently exemplified this commitment through her volunteer work at the Special Olympics Washington State Games, held February 27–28, 2025.
Special Olympics Washington has been empowering athletes with disabilities for over 50 years by providing inclusive opportunities to participate in sports events ranging from local competitions to international Olympic Games. This year’s State Games featured winter sports including alpine skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, basketball, and cheerleading, bringing together athletes from across the region to showcase their incredible skills and spirit.
Casi played a key role on the General Management team, assisting with the opening ceremonies and overseeing awards and medals for the mountain alpine events. Her responsibilities included official data recording and coordinating medal ceremonies, ensuring each athlete’s achievements were celebrated. Casi also stepped in wherever additional support was needed, demonstrating her adaptability and commitment.
For Casi, volunteering with Special Olympics holds deep personal significance. Her son’s fiancée coordinates Western Washington events for Special Olympics Washington, and Casi’s special-needs niece and nephew have inspired her ongoing dedication. Through her involvement, she has witnessed firsthand the remarkable strength, talent, and joy exhibited by these athletes—qualities that often go unnoticed due to perceptions surrounding disabilities.
“The incredible joy, innocence, and amazing competitive spirit these athletes show is truly inspiring,” Casi shared. “Being part of this event allows me to help highlight their abilities, celebrate their achievements, and promote a more inclusive community.”
