Anthony May judged first-year law students’ oral arguments at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, his alma mater, on April 15. He was honored to provide guidance to aspiring appellate attorneys.
On April 16, Monica Basche joined the Bar Association of Baltimore City’s Meet the Judges event, which brought together judges of the Circuit Court and the District Court for Baltimore City and lawyers to connect in a social setting outside of the courtroom. In addition to BABC, the event was co-hosted by the Maryland Association for Justice, the Maryland Defense Counsel, the Maryland State Bar Association and the Monumental City Bar Association.
Jacqueline Cadman attended the Women’s White Collar Defense Association (WWCDA) lunch event hosted in Washington, D.C. on April 17. The WWCDA D.C. Chapter brings together women attorneys practicing in the white collar criminal defense space to connect, discuss developments in the field, and share their expertise with one another.
