Jacqui Cadman attended a May 13 presentation titled “Prosecuting Waste, Fraud and Abuse: Procurement Fraud Investigations in 2025 and Beyond,” hosted by the American Bar Association. The event explored the evolving landscape of procurement fraud investigations and expectations for months and years ahead.
On May 2, Neel Lalchandani and Catalina Odio attend MSBA Annual Young Lawyers Section Charity Event, benefitting critically ill children and their families through the Believe in Tomorrow Children’s Foundation. Neel and Catalina enjoyed live music, refreshments, a silent auction, and the chance to connect with fellow Maryland legal professionals throughout the evening.
Paralegal Kayle Hill attended the second annual “Disability Justice: Resist and Reclaim” Summit on May 1, hosted by the University of Maryland School of Social Work’s Office of Strategic Initiatives and Access and the Accessibility Advisory Group. Throughout the day-long summit, Kayle and fellow attendees participated in discussions examining the impacts of ableism on disability discrimination. They also explored policies, practice and advocacy that center disabled voices and promote accessibility beyond compliance.
