1, Call for Papers: The European Yearbook of Constitutional Law. The European Yearbook of Constitutional Law (EYCL) is inviting scholars from around the world to submit proposals for its 2026 issue on “Social Rights and Constitutional Justice”. The deadline for proposals is 1 June 2025.

2. Advanced Summer Programme: Terrorism, Counter-Terrorism and the Rule of Law. From 25 – 29 August 2025, the T.M.C. Asser Instituut in cooperation with the International Centre for Counter-Terrorism (ICCT), will host in The Hague the 15th anniversary edition of the Advanced Summer Programme on Terrorism, Counter-Terrorism and the Rule of Law. This programme offers an in-depth look at the challenges associated with understanding and addressing the root causes of extremism and terrorism and the difficulties when adopting and implementing counter-extremism and terrorism measures while ensuring respect for human rights, fundamental freedoms, and the rule of law. Additionally, it provides the opportunity to get familiar with current and emerging threats in countering terrorism and (violent) extremism, such as online radicalisation, the use of AI, and disinformation. 1. Call for Papers: Conference of Young Scholars of International Legal Studies. On 4 – 5 December 2025, the Department of Law at the University of Ferrara (Italy) will host the XXII edition of the Conference of Young Scholars of International Legal Studies, dedicated to “The Principle of Good Faith in International and European Union Law.” The organizers have issued a call for papers open to scholars of public and private international law and EU law, who are currently enrolled in a PhD program or who obtained their PhD no more than five years ago. To apply, authors must submit an abstract (no more than 600 words), in either Italian or English, along with a curriculum vitae, by 22 June 2025, to giovaniinternazionalisti2025 {at} gmail(.)com. 2. Asser-CSHR Online Summer Programme 2025: International Sport and Human Rights. Since 2022, T.M.C. Asser Instituut (The Hague), in collaboration with the Centre for Sport and Human Rights, has organised a yearly summer course on sport and human rights. This 4th online edition (21 – 23 and 26 – 28 May 2025) brings together speakers from academia and practice (including sport body representatives, athletes, civil society actors) to give participants a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application. This year, the programme will involve a multidisciplinary discussion of the intersection of sport and human rights with contemporary topics of governance, mega-sporting events, gender, e-sports, remedy, and dispute resolution.
